Sebastian: Sebastian was confiscated from his previous owners by Chesterfield, SC Animal Control in a neglect case. He is one of the best natured donkeys the vet had ever met. He has been with CWR since January 2016 and is a great protector for a lot of our animals. He is a volunteer favorite and a very sweet boy.

Eddie: Eddie came to CWR in March 2016 from Big Oaks Animal Rescue in Greenwood, SC, where he had been living after his original owner passed away. We decided to get Eddie as a companion for our other donkey, Sebastian. Eddie is a sweet and silly boy, who helps to protect many of the animals at CWR.
7 months later we acquired Zip from Hurricane Matthew. Now, Sebastian, Eddie, and Zip are a trio of bonded donkeys who love to get all the attention from volunteers

Zip: Zip came to CWR from Skywatch Bird Rescue due to Hurricane Matthew approaching the coast in October 2016. We offered sanctuary for any animals in the path of Hurricane Matthew. Zip began bonding with Sebastian and Eddie. He would cry for them when they were separated. So it became clear that he was going to become a permanent resident with CWR.
