Ares: Ares is a handsome leucistic Peacock. Ares was found injured in a stranger's yard in Spartanburg, SC December 2018 (probably hit by a car). Some awesome rescuers from Izzie's Pond captured him and rehabbed him back to health. He was transferred to us from Izzie's Pond when they suffered some major damage due to flood waters at their rescue in January 2020. He quickly found a partner with Aphrodite. So he became a CWR resident since we promised we would give sanctuary to Aphrodite and her peafowl who survived California wildfires.

Kevin: Kevin is a Blue Indian Peacock. Kevin started out his life living at a local neighborhood in Charlotte, NC until he was shot multiple times with a BB Gun and hit by a car. He was brought to us in March of 2019 to save his life. He had leg and pelvic injuries from the ordeal. He was required to wear vet wrap shoes for months to help heal his injuries. Kevin struts around the peacock aviary daily, showing off his beautiful train of feathers and making his awesome peacock calls.
